This Canadian immigration Self-Employed Program is designed to attract those candidates who are able to become self-employed in Canada. Applicants for this Program must have the experience, intention. Also, they must have abilities to make a “significant contribution” to Canada’s cultural life or sports in Canada.

Interested candidates must meet both:

• have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics and
• be willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada

The Federal Self-Employed Immigration Program is for applicants with specialized abilities and at least 2 years of professional experience in cultural or athletic activities in the last 5 years. Eligible candidates will receive Canadian permanent residency after obtaining at least 35 points out of 100 points and successfully entering the program.
